Centennial Chiropractic team is back!!! Dr Mike Moribaldi’s team sponsorship has moved from Tuesday night Masters to Monday morning’s Hathaway Gold Legends, playing on Field #4 starting this Monday, August 31 at 9:30. Dr Mike has been a CSSA sponsor since February 2019 and owner of Centennial Chiropractic & Spinal Decompression Center since 1996. He is located at 4343 Shallowford Road, Suite B6, Marietta, GA. Even tho he is unable to play at the moment, he has been an active participant of the CSSA group for several years and hopes to return asap. All Tues night games (Aug 25) were rained out – reschedules will be posted as soon as Directors let me know.
The Wed morning LLL group was also called due to the field conditions after Tuesday’s all day rain. Reschedule for LLL will be posted as soon as possible.
As far as Wed nite Legacy League, we do not have information at this time. As soon as find out, will try to let everyone know.
If you have not signed up for the texting of Rainout notices that are issued by CRPA, please do so asap. The link is posted on our HOME webpage and very easy to do by clicking on and following instructions to mark notices for CSSA, but I will post here also.

We try to give advance notice of cancellations however we don’t always receive these notices in time to catch those players who come from a distance.

The Lowell Lawson League sadly lost another Senior player this past week. Even though Hugh didn’t start his CSSA career until 2019, his enjoyment of playing showed he’d been around the ballfield for much longer. Along with his wife Janie, sons Kyle and Kasey, grandchildren and other relatives, Hugh will be missed by so very many.
Visitation will be held at South Cherokee Funeral Home, 3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton on Mon Aug 17 from 2pm to 6 and Tues Aug 18 from 11am to 1pm with services scheduled for 2pm. Condolences may be made online or cards sent to the family: Janie Ray, 820 Johnson Brady Rd, Canton, GA 30115

This coming Saturday and Sunday, (Aug 1st and 2nd), CSSA will continue to have player evaluations for the Fall 2020 leagues and teams. Times for Sat Aug 1st will be from 10am to 2pm, and time for Sun Aug 2nd will be Noon until 2pm for any of those who are interested in joining play. Leagues are currently scheduled to begin the week of August 10 – with exception of the Wed morning Lowell Lawson League and Wed evening Legacy which are at this moment planning to begin Aug 19.
CSSA will continue to follow all current CDC COVID-19 protocols with masks recommended, temperature taking before players are allowed on fields, maintaining the 6 foot distancing protocols, and will provide sanitizers to those needing.
